Changes for 2009

I’ve been hinting at this a while but we have a few changes here in creative therapy for 2009.

First of all, it is with great sadness that we say good-bye to some amazing artists who’ve been on our team. Amelie, Karan, Leena, and Vivian have decided to pursue other ventures for 2009. It has been a great honor and pleasure having them on our team and we wish them the very very best.

Secondly, we’re thrilled to have quite a few new team members. Some of which have already shared their art and some who haven’t yet. Joining us for 2009 are: Amy Cowen, Dedra Long, Katie Watson, Kimmi Achord, Larissa Albernaz, Opal Cocke and Wendela Lam. These are some amazing artists and I am unbelievably honored to be in their company.

And finally a small word on RAKs. I’ve decided to let go of having weekly sponsors for creative therapy for 2009. This part of the site is a lot of work for me and since I have a baby coming next year, I knew something had to go. As it turned out, several of our sponsors from this year would like to continue sponsoring us regularly for 2009 so we will have plenty of goodies to give away but some weeks we might have something and other weeks, nothing. The goal of creative therapy was never to win goodies. It was for you to feel better so I hope you’ll continue to join us weekly.

We already have an amazing list of guest artists who’ve agreed to join us in 2009 and we’re thrilled and can’t wait to get started.

We wish you a wonderful New Year and as always thank you for sharing your art with us. It’s a privilege and honor.

See you in 2009!

Hi. In 2008, I’ve just been reading the posts on this blog. For 2009, I intend to participate more, doing some of the challenges. I hope I’ll be able to do that! Thank you for all your inspiration!
